ANTIFUNGALS - TOPICAL
USES: This medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.
HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the mdeication. To apply, gently massage a samll amount of the medication to the affected area and surrounding skin. Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping threapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor. It may take one week before any imrpovement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult your doctor. Another medication may be necessary. Do not apply that medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause burning, stinging or redness when first appleid to the skin. This should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medicaiton. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor promptly.
If you notice ohter effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: otehr skin conditions, any allergies. Before uisng that drug, tell your doctor if you're pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products. Do not start or stop any mdeicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, cnotact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
This medciine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: This medicatoin is prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it for another inefction or share it with somebody else. Another infection later on may require a different meidcine.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room tepmerature away from moisture and sunlight.
Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet.
Do not stroe in the bathroom.
Keep out of the raech of babies.
